Mission
The mission of the undergraduate program in Civil Engineering at UIU is to produce competent graduates tutored with skill, attitudes and the quality of complex problem solvers, to prepare them for entry-level positions in Civil Engineering, as well as for higher studies in graduate school, life-long learning, and to develop their societal leadership.
Vision
To be a globally recognized outstanding department committed to excellence in academics, research, knowledge creation and delivery to develop socially-responsible professionals.
Program Educational Objectives (PEO)
- Graduates will be able to solve complex engineering problems thereby attaining a high level of technical expertise and practicing sound engineering
